Giclee printing is a very sophisticated and accurate form of digital commercial reproduction replacing the old offset, four-colour printing and far more sophisticated than ordinary colour copying. Giclee printing is commonly used for reproducing fine-art images as the inks and paper are of a deliberately high archival standard and are said to maintain colour stability for 50 years.These Giclee prints are printed on an Epson 9900 using using Ultrachrome HDR inks.
