I’m a little in love with watercolour today

That was the title of the post I made on Facebook last week. It struck me at that moment, on a warm Monday morning, on the sort of clear, hot day that spells spring in the northern rivers, that the marks that watercolour make are like no other.
And that I love the marks as much as I love the pictures they make.

There’s being published and then there’s being PUBLISHED

 While I’m thinking about ‘the artist as writer’ I want to tell you about the first time I came closed to being a published author. I know that there are degrees of being published, and hierarchies within those degrees.
