LEARN TO PAINT FLOWERS IN WATERCOLOUR Launceston Tasmania
Wednesday October 9
A day exploring what the flowers in the cool-climate garden of Maverick House look like. How we can learn to see, by drawing and painting. And how we can learn to draw and paint, by slowing down to see. Technical info about drawing and painting will be led by the needs of the participants – even those who think they may not know how to already.

FULL MOON ART RETREAT Deepwater NSW
November 15-18, 2024
This Full Moon Art Retreat will be held at Deepwater Station instead of “Moorabinda” – as the crow flies not that far. If you are driving from away, and would drive through Tenterfield to get to Mingoola, you’ll find the distance similar.
It has activities you’ll be familiar with from “Moorabinda”, with a few site specific activities thrown in. We’ll be staying in the restored shearers quarters, our studio will either be the shearing shed or the shed. We’ll paint int the studio, out in the paddock, in the moonlight, by candlelight and there’s a surprise activity too this year, just to keep everyone on their toes. There’ll be a little printmaking session, some drawing, some watercolour and a lot of fun. We have an expedition planned, and one of the other sentient beings at the property has agreed to sit for us. We’ll be happy as a pig in mud!
Contact Catie at Deepwater Station by phone or through their website to book.
Contact Christine directly with questions about the art activities.
